Our curriculum incorporates best practices from proven gifted education. Our Language Arts, Social Studies and Science curriculum are based on units from William & Mary College of Gifted Education. Backed by 30 years of research, development and assessment, the William and Mary curriculum has an international reputation for excellence in gifted learning research and curriculum development. In addition, all materials were developed, tested and refined in gifted classrooms across the world.
The core of our math program is the highly acclaimed, research based Singapore Math Program. Through topic learning and creative problem solving, students are able to grasp more abstract math concepts with a logical, building methodology.
In addition to the core math program, teachers integrate Project M3 math units. These award winning units were developed and tested by a team of national experts in the fields of mathematics and gifted education from the University of Connecticut, Neag Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development.
Our students also participate in Math Olympiads. The Math Olympiads competition increases math engagement, teaches strategies for problem solving, and fosters mathematical creativity and ingenuity.
